The Instant ELISA® technology developed by Bender MedSystems represents a major improvement of the established sandwich ELISA. The designation "Instant" signifies that the addition of sample is all that is required to start the assay - there is no laborious preparation of reagents, serial dilutions of standards, and their sequential addition to the plate. In contrast to conventional ELISA plates, the Instant ELISA® plate contains coating antibody and lyophilized detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP, and sample diluent. Additionally wells containing the ready to use standard curve contain standard protein.

Better value - More samples per kit!
With the Bender MedSystems Instant ELISA® kit you receive a 96 well plate reserved for your samples, and additionally two separately packed double standard curves. This concept allows the measurement of 96 samples in single determination, or 48 samples in duplicates. Conventional ELISA kits enable the measurement of 80 samples, or 40 sample duplicates, respectively.

Just a few steps to success.
When you receive your kit, all the preparation work has already been performed by us. Only 7 working steps have to be completed using the Instant ELISA®, as opposed to 17 steps using a conventional ELISA. As a consequence, laboratories save about 1 hour hands-on time per kit by adopting the Instant ELISA® technique.

It´s easy to change to Instant!
For most analytes, identical antibody pairs are used in all Bender MedSystems kit formats such as Instant ELISA®, ELISA, Module Set, and FlowCytomix™.
This strategy ensures better comparability of data generated with different assays.
Furthermore, Instant ELISA® kits are compared with competitor assays. A representative experiment is shown below: The Bender MedSystems IL-2 Instant ELISA® BMS221INST, shows a coefficient of determination of 0.99 with a comparable IL-2 Conventional ELISA on the market. 32 serum samples were applied.
